The Collegium de Lyon has given its academic endorsement to the UNESCO Chair at the Catholic University of Lyon.

The Collegium de Lyon is an international, multidisciplinary Institute for Advanced Study which focuses on human and social sciences, while including exact sciences.
It aims to create an academic community based on a culture of excellence that facilitates transfer between different disciplines, cultures and languages.

The Collegium makes the most of Lyon's academic environment by gearing its research towards the city's scientific and educational potential (with its universities, grandes écoles, networks of researchers and institutions) with the objective of encouraging cross-disciplinary reflection and launching pioneering research.
