The work of our Chair is guided by UNESCO instruments, in particular the texts adopted during the Mexico World Conference (6 August 1982, especially the definition of culture and the notion of universality), the Universal Declaration on Cultural Diversity (2 November 2001) and the Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions (20 October 2005).
